Anyway, when I connect the speakers I am asked to install the 'SigmaTel C Major Audio, AC97 WDM' drivers. I do it and then it also asks me to install this file: 'stac97.sys'. I found it and installed it as well but it doesn't work. Maybe it's not the correct one or something is wrong with its version (I tried the Realtek AC97 audio drivers, too and they didn't help). P.S There is a 'high definition audio driver package kb888111' installed, not sure if he needs it though. So, where can I find and download the audio drivers that I need? Click to expand.This is the serial number: KDGA8LH according to the program 'Belarc Advisor' and it doesn't help. This is the system model: IBM 831361G. I found a page called 'NetVista 8313 - Lenovo Support' and I could find the drivers there BUT when I entered it said that the page doesn't exist. So it seems that like I said Lenovo/IBM doesn't support this model anymore.
My dad lives in a place where there is no internet connection so a program that would detect the drivers online, would not be useful at all. I have to find the drivers, transfer them using a usb stick and install them.
